Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were 2.00 to 4.00 lower. Feeder steers were mostly 2.00 to 6.00 higher; heifers mostly steady to 5.00 higher; and feeder bulls were 1.00 to 3.00 higher, some 9.00 to 11.00 higher. Demand was good; market activity and buyer interest were active. Offerings of cattle were very heavy. Cattle quality was attractive. Baby calves ranged 20.00 to 50.00 per head.

Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (25% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 29% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 14% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (83% Bred Cows, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 17%.
