Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were mostly 2 to 3 lower. Feeder cattle were mostly 3 to 10 higher. Demand was moderate to slightly better; market activity and buyer interest were slightly better. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was above average.

Supply included: 71% Feeder Cattle (22% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 33% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers); 26% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (65% Bred Cows, 35% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 17%.
