Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were mostly steady to 1.00 higher. Feeder steers and bulls were mostly 3.00 to 19.00 lower, while heifers were mostly steady to 8.00 lower. Demand was light to moderate; market activity and buyer interest were light to moderate. Offerings of cattle were moderate. Cattle quality was average.

Supply included: 86% Feeder Cattle (26% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 46% Heifers, 27% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (25% Bred Cows, 75% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 17%.
