Compared to last week, slaughter cattle were steady to 1.00 lower. Feeder steers were mostly 2.00 to 6.00 lower, while bulls and heifers were mostly 1.00 to 7.00 higher. Demand was moderate; market activity and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were moderate to heavy. Cattle quality was average to attractive.

Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (31% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 39% Heifers, 29% Bulls); 15% Slaughter Cattle (85% Cows, 15% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (46% Bred Cows, 38% Bred Heifers, 15% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 16%.
