Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 5.00 higher on a very light test, boning type were 3.00 to 4.00 higher, and there were too few comparable slaughter bulls the previous week to establish an adequate market comparison. There were also too few feeder cattle the previous week to establish an adequate market comparison. Demand was moderate; market activity and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were fairly light. Cattle quality was average. Baby calves (9) ranged 5.00 to 15.00 per head.

Supply included: 69% Feeder Cattle (39% Steers, 39% Heifers, 21% Bulls); 23% Slaughter Cattle (93% Cows, 7% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs); 4% Slaughter Sheep/Lambs (80% Hair Breeds, 20% Ewes); 3% Slaughter Goats (100% Kids). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 21%.
