Compared to last week: Slaughter cows 12.00-15.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 10.00-12.00 higher. Demand moderate to good. Several cows available as high temperatures are causing ponds to dry up, pastures to burn up, and hay is either limited or the cost is just too high.
Supply included: 34% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers); 52% Slaughter Cattle (97% Cows, 3% Bulls); 15% Replacement Cattle (88% Bred Cows, 12% CowCalf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.
