Compared to last week: Slaughter cows sold 3.00-5.00 lower. Slaughter bulls traded mostly steady. Demand light to moderate. A very heavy run of slaughter cows again this week as the drought continues to bring cattle to sale.
Supply included: 4% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers); 89% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (73% Bred Cows, 25% Bred Heifers, 2% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.
