Compared to last week: Slaughter cows sold 5.00 to 8.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold 4.00 to 7.00 higher. Demand very good with excellent packer demand. Quality good. A total of 593 cows and bulls sold with 46 percent going to packers. Heavy rain and cooler temperatures moved across the trade area today.

Supply included: 22% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers); 36% Slaughter Cattle (77% Cows, 23% Bulls); 42% Replacement Cattle (7% Stock Cows, 62% Bred Cows, 4% Bred Heifers, 26% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.
