Compared to last week: Slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower. Slaughter bulls sold 5.00 to 7.00 lower. Demand good. Quality average. A total of 439 cows and bulls (100 bulls) sold with 54 percent going to packers. Rain and cooler temperatures moved across the trade area early in the week.
Supply included: 12% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers); 48% Slaughter Cattle (64% Cows, 36% Bulls); 40% Replacement Cattle (24% Stock Cows, 63% Bred Cows, 4% Bred Heifers, 9% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.
