Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. All classes on a light a test. Quality good. Demand good for all classes. A total of 194 cows and bulls sold with 47 percent going to packers. Heavy rain moved across the trade area on Tuesday and Wednesday limiting livestock movement.
Supply included: 11% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers); 42% Slaughter Cattle (81% Cows, 19% Bulls); 47% Replacement Cattle (35% Stock Cows, 51% Bred Cows, 7% Bred Heifers, 7% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.
