Compared to last week: Slaughter cows sold 5.00 to 8.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold 8.00 to 10.00 higher. Demand very good for all classes. Quality good with few attractive. A total of 444 cows and bulls sold with 44 percent going to packers.
Supply included: 14% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers); 38% Slaughter Cattle (74% Cows, 26% Bulls); 48% Replacement Cattle (22% Stock Cows, 54% Bred Cows, 4% Bred Heifers, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.
