Compared to last week: Steers 6.00-9.00 higher. Feeder Heifers 4.00-7.00 higher. Demand good. Quality plain thru attractive. Slaughter cows 10.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 7.00 higher. A total of 217 cows and bulls sold with 49 percent going to packers.
Supply included: 91% Feeder Cattle (51% Steers, 43% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (88% Bred Cows, 4% Bred Heifers, 8% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 31%.
