Compared to last week: With a much-needed rain throughout the trade area steers traded 2.00-5.00 higher. Heifers 3.00-6.00 higher. Valued added cattle 1.00-3.00 higher. Quality good. Demand good. Slaughter cows mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 6.00 higher.

Supply included: 84% Feeder Cattle (44% Steers, 42% Heifers, 15% Bulls); 14% Slaughter Cattle (84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (55% Bred Cows, 45% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 13%.
