Compared to last week: There were too few receipts last week to establish a trend. However, this week steers and heifers both had an extremely higher undertone noted. Demand good. Quality good thru attractive. Slaughter cows mostly steady in a light test. Slaughter bulls 5.00 higher also in a light test. A total of 228 cows and bulls sold with 68 percent going to packers.

Supply included: 89% Feeder Cattle (49% Steers, 46% Heifers, 5% Bulls); 10% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (68% Bred Cows, 32% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 27%.
