Compared to last week: Snow and Ice throughout the trade area kept receipts too few to establish a trend. Demand good. Quality mostly plain. Slaughter cows 6.00-9.00 higher in a light test. Slaughter bulls 5.00 higher also in a light test.
Supply included: 90% Feeder Cattle (52% Steers, 44% Heifers, 4% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (90% Bred Heifers, 10% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 13%.
