Compared to last week: Steers 3.00-4.00 lower. Heifers 5.00-7.00 lower. Quality average thru good. Demand good. Slaughter cows 4.006.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 5.00 lower. A total of 717 cows and bulls sold with 76 percent going to packers.
Supply included: 79% Feeder Cattle (40% Steers, 44% Heifers, 16% Bulls); 19% Slaughter Cattle (96% Cows, 4% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (77% Bred Cows, 8% Bred Heifers, 15% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 13%.
