Compared to last week: Steers 3.00-5.00 lower. Heifers 5.00-7.00 lower. Quality good. Demand good. Slaughter cows 5.00-7.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 6.00 lower. A total of 281 cows and bulls sold with 39 percent going to packers.
Supply included: 87% Feeder Cattle (55% Steers, 30% Heifers, 14% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (84% Cows, 16% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (64% Bred Cows, 36% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 24%.
