Compared to last week: Steer calves 5.00-8.00 higher. Feeder steers 4.00-6.00 lower. Heifers 5.00-7.00 lower. Quality good. Demand good. Slaughter cows 3.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 4.00 lower. A total of 255 cows and bulls sold with 53 percent going to packers.
Supply included: 87% Feeder Cattle (46% Steers, 44% Heifers, 10% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (85% Cows, 15% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (82% Bred Cows, 18% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
