Compared to last week: Steers mostly steady to 3.00 lower. Heifers 4.00-6.00 higher. Demand good. Quality plain thru attractive. Slaughter cows 4.00-6.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 3.00-4.00 higher. A total of 227 cows and bulls sold with 58 percent going to packers.
Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (40% Steers, 53% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (56% Bred Cows, 3% Bred Heifers, 40% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 29%.
