Compared to last week: Steers 4.00-9.00 higher. Heifers 3.00-7.00 higher. Quality good. Demand good. Slaughter cows 4.00-7.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 3.00 higher. A total of 259 cows and bulls sold with 53 percent going to packers.
Supply included: 91% Feeder Cattle (52% Steers, 45% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 8% Slaughter Cattle (83% Cows, 17% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (6% Stock Cows, 40% Bred Cows, 9% Bred Heifers, 46% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 18%.
