Compared to last week feeder steers mostly steady, feeder heifers steady to 2.00 higher, feeder bulls too few to trend, slaughter cows and slaughter bulls steady to 2.00 lower. Moderate offering of average to plain quality cattle with active buyer participation. Light demand for cattle with excessive hair.

Supply included: 79% Feeder Cattle (31% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 47% Heifers, 21% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 14% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (44% Stock Cows, 11% Bred Cows, 11% Cow-Calf Pairs, 33% Bulls); 4% Slaughter Goats (66% Kids, 8% Nannies/Does, 21% Bucks/Billies, 5% Wethers); 1% Slaughter Hogs (75% Barrows & Gilts, 25% Sows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 12%.
