Compared to last week feeder steers and feeder bulls too few to trend, feeder heifers 3.00 higher, slaughter cows steady, slaughter bulls too few to trend. Light offering of average quality cattle due to extremely wet conditions with active buyer participation.
Supply included: 59% Feeder Cattle (30% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 37% Heifers, 32% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 13% Bulls); 17% Replacement Cattle (12% Stock Cows, 34% Bred Cows, 51% Cow-Calf Pairs, 3% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Goats (33% Kids, 30% Nannies/Does, 23% Bucks/Billies, 13% Wethers); 4% Slaughter Hogs (69% Barrows & Gilts, 31% Sows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 11%.
