Compared to last week, feeder steers and feeder heifers were unevenly steady. Feeder bulls were too few to trend. There were moderate offerings of average quality cattle with active buyer participation.
Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (46% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 45% Heifers, 8% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Cattle (85% Cows, 15% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (23% Stock Cows, 31% Bred Cows, 46% Cow-Calf Pairs); 3% Slaughter Goats (28% Kids, 39% Nannies/Does, 28% Bucks/Billies, 6% Wethers); 1% Feeder Pigs (100% Pigs); 2% Slaughter Hogs (63% Barrows & Gilts, 25% Sows, 13% Boars). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 5%.
