Compared to last week, feeder steers and feeder bulls were steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder heifers were mostly steady. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were steady. There were moderate offerings of average to good quality cattle with active buyer participation.
Supply included: 80% Feeder Cattle (32% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 23% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers); 13% Slaughter Cattle (85% Cows, 15% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (15% Stock Cows, 15% Bred Cows, 70% Cow-Calf Pairs); 2% Slaughter Goats (10% Kids, 20% Nannies/Does, 55% Bucks/Billies, 5% Wethers, 10% Wether Kids); 0% Feeder Pigs (100% Pigs); 1% Slaughter Hogs (40% Barrows & Gilts, 60% Sows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 17%.
