Compared to last week, feeder cattle were mostly steady. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were steady. There were moderate offerings of mostly average quality cattle with active buyer participation.

Supply included: 71% Feeder Cattle (28% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 41% Heifers, 32% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (80% Cows, 20% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (25% Stock Cows, 50% Bred Cows, 25% Cow-Calf Pairs); 5% Slaughter Goats (33% Kids, 29% Nannies/Does, 25% Bucks/Billies, 8% Wethers, 4% Wether Kids); 7% Feeder Pigs (100% Pigs); 4% Slaughter Hogs (82% Barrows & Gilts, 12% Sows, 6% Boars). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
