Compared to last week: steers 600 to 650 lbs 3.00 to 4.00 lower, 651 to 800 lbs mostly steady, 801 to 950 lbs steady to 2.00 lower. Heifers 600 to 650 lbs and 701 to 750 lbs mostly steady, 651 to 700 and 751 to 800 lbs steady to 3.00 higher. Another large offering this week featuring many packages and loads of mostly home raised cattle. Very good demand for grass type cattle, good to very good demand for feeding types. This weeks sale very similar to last weeks in quality and flesh, from plain to attractive and light to some heavy flesh at times. Many colored cattle featured this week as well. An active market seen for this offering. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, March 30.
