Compared to last week: steers 600 to 700 lbs unevenly steady, 701 to 950 lbs steady to 3.00 higher. Heifers 600 to 650 lbs steady to 3.00 higher, 651 to 800 lbs mostly steady with instances up to 2.00 lower on 700 to 750 lbs. Another large offering of feeder cattle this week featuring many packages and loads, most of these home raised. Very good demand for grass type cattle, good to very good demand for feeding type cattle. Quality varied, from plain to attractive, many colored cattle offered today. Similar to recent weeks, flesh varied, from light to some heavy at times. More tag seen this week as the weather has gotten warm and lots are rapidly thawing and getting sloppy. An active market seen for this offering. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, March 23.
