Compared to last week: best test on steers 800 to 950 lbs mostly steady, 951 to 1000 lbs steady to 3.00 lower. Best test on heifers 900 to 950 lbs steady to 2.00 higher. Good demand for today's large offering which included many loads and strings of both backgrounded and home raised cattle. Quality today was mostly attractive. Flesh varied again this week, but mostly moderate to moderate plus with some heavy flesh at times. An active market seen for today's offering. Buyers had many opportunities to procure multiple loads of the same man's cattle and did so many times. Conditions remain dry in this area with some light showers today. Corn planting is well under way. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, May 12.
