Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 500 lbs sold firm on a light test, 500 - 600 lbs sold mostly 5.00 lower, and steers over 600 lbs traded 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs sold with weak undertone, whereas heifers over 500 lbs traded mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Supply consisted of varying quality of both weaned and unweaned calves with discounts extending to unweaned 5 weight steers. Most cattle had received one to three rounds of vaccines. The next report will be available Thursday, November 11, 2021.
