Trade activity and demand moderate to good. Feeder steers and heifers were too thinly traded for an accurate trend. Dairy feeder heifers sold mostly steady to 2.00 lower. Average dressing slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher, bulls 2.00 lower. The next available report will be Monday, April 3, 2023.

Supply included: 45% Feeder Cattle (40% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 45% Heifers, 3% Bulls, 12% Dairy Heifers); 32% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 24% Replacement Cattle (2% Stock Cows, 61% Bred Cows, 5% Bred Heifers, 32% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 40%.
