Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 4 Colorado auction markets included: Livestock Exchange, Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, and Sterling Livestock. Trade activity and demand moderate to good. Across all auctions, a lighter supply of Feeder steers and heifers traded mostly steady. In the slaughter cows and bulls supply, average dressing Breakers traded 1.00 higher, average dressing Boners 2.00 higher, average dressing Leans steady, and average dressing Bulls steady. Middle Aged stock cows traded mostly steady. No comparable trades on bred cows and cow calf pairs to trend. The next available report will be Monday, January 11, 2021.

Supply included: 65% Feeder Cattle (60% Steers, 40% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 10% Slaughter Cattle (96% Cows, 4% Bulls); 25% Replacement Cattle (44% Stock Cows, 41% Bred Cows, 15% Bred Heifers, 0% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 49%.
