Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 3 Colorado auction markets included: Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, and Livestock Exchange. Trade activity moderate on moderate to very good demand. Feeder steers under 500 lbs sold sharply lower on a light test, 500-750 lbs mostly 3.00 to 5.00 higher, and over 750 lbs mixed at 3.00 lower to 3.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 450 lbs sold uneven, and heifers 450-850 lbs mostly steady to 5.00 lower. Feeder dairy heifers 850-1300 lbs sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Average dressing slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher.

Supply included: 87% Feeder Cattle (44% Steers, 50% Heifers, 0% Bulls, 6% Dairy Heifers); 13% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (37% Stock Cows, 41% Bred Heifers, 22% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 59%.
