Trade activity and demand mostly moderate to good. Feeder steers under 500 lbs sold mostly 7.00-10.00 higher, 500-600 lbs mostly steady to 4.00 higher, 600-700 lbs mostly 3.00-5.00 higher, and over 700 lbs mostly steady to 2.00 higher with instances 8.00-10.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 550 lbs sold mostly 2.00-8.00 higher, and over 550 lbs 2.00-5.00 higher. Feeder dairy heifers mostly steady. Average dressing slaughter cows mostly 1.00-3.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold mostly steady to 2.00 higher. The next available report will be Monday, November 7, 2022.

Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (56% Steers, 42% Heifers, 1% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 19% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 0% Heifers, 94% Cows, 5% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (58% Stock Cows, 42% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 48%.
