Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 2 Colorado auction markets included: Livestock Exchange and Centennial Livestock. Trade activity and demand moderate. Slaughter cows traded steady while slaughter bulls traded 6.00 higher. Feeding cows traded steady and dairy heifers traded 1.00 to 5.00 higher. Compared to last month's dairy feeder cattle auction, dairy feeder steers sold firm, mostly 10.00 to 15.00 higher. Dairy feeder heifers under 550 lbs sold mostly steady, and the light test of dairy feeder heifers over 1000 lbs sold with firm undertone. Trade activity, demand and attendance were moderate to good. The next available report will be Monday, July 11, 2022.

Supply included: 60% Feeder Cattle (3% Steers, 61% Dairy Steers, 3% Heifers, 2% Bulls, 31% Dairy Heifers); 39% Slaughter Cattle (0% Steers, 91% Cows, 8% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 1% Replacement Cattle (36% Stock Cows, 64% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
