Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 1 Colorado auction included: Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand good on slaughter cows and bulls. Average dressing slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 6.00 higher. Feeder cattle of both beef and dairy breed types had no comparable trades from the prior week. Baby calves under 160 lbs sold mostly 210.00 to 325.00 per head, and 160-325 lbs sold 425.00 to 600.00 per head.

Supply included: 18% Feeder Cattle (1% Steers, 99% Dairy Heifers); 79% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (47% Stock Cows, 53% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 90%.
