Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 3 Colorado auction markets included: Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, and Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand moderate to good. Feeder cattle too thinly traded for an accurate market trend. Average dressing slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 3.00 higher. Due to the upcoming Memorial Day holiday, the next available report will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Supply included: 43% Feeder Cattle (36% Steers, 32% Heifers, 7% Bulls, 25% Dairy Heifers); 37% Slaughter Cattle (0% Heifers, 88% Cows, 11% Bulls); 20% Replacement Cattle (5% Stock Cows, 26% Bred Cows, 2% Bred Heifers, 65% Cow-Calf Pairs, 2% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 50%.
