Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 3 Colorado auction markets included: Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, and Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand moderate. Receipts light this week with feeder steers selling mostly 6.00 to 11.00 lower on a light test. Trade mixed on feeder heifers with receipts too light for an accurate trend. Dairy feeder heifers sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower on a light test. Average dressing slaughter cows and bulls sold unevenly steady. The next available report will be Monday, April 4, 2022.

Supply included: 55% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 45% Heifers, 3% Bulls, 5% Dairy Heifers); 42% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 4% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 3% Replacement Cattle (22% Stock Cows, 17% Bred Cows, 61% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 60%.
