Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 4 Colorado auction markets included: Winter Livestock, La Junta Livestock, Sterling Livestock, and Livestock Exchange. Feeder steers under 500 lbs sold 10.00 to 15.00 higher on a light test, 500-700 lbs mostly 2.00 to 7.00 higher, 700-800 lbs 3.00 lower and over 800 lbs 8.00 to 14.00 lower on a light test. Feeder heifers under 700 lbs sold mostly 1.00 to 3.00 higher on a thin test, and over 700 lbs 2.00 to 6.00 lower on a thin test. Feeder dairy heifers sold unevenly steady. Average dressing slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. The next available report will be Monday, March 14, 2022.

Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (44% Steers, 54% Heifers, 0% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 14% Slaughter Cattle (0% Heifers, 86% Cows, 13% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers); 1% Replacement Cattle (81% Stock Cows, 19% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 70%.
