Trade activity and demand moderate to very good. Feeder steers under 600 lbs sold mostly 4.00 to 9.00 higher, and steers over 600 lbs sold uneven from 2.00 lower to 3.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 700 lbs mostly 4.00 to 13.00 higher, and over 700 lbs 1.00 to 6.00 higher. Average dressing slaughter cows and bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher. The next available report will be Monday, February 28, 2022.

Supply included: 79% Feeder Cattle (53% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 43% Heifers, 0% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 13% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 8% Replacement Cattle (7% Stock Cows, 92% Bred Cows, 0% Bred Heifers, 0% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 55%.
