Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 1 Colorado auction included: Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Slaughter cows traded unevenly steady. Feeding cows traded steady on a light test. Slaughter bulls were too thinly tested to accurately compare. Holstein heifers had the highest demand and traded 1.50 to 7.50 higher. All other classed of cattle were too thinly tested for any comparisons. During this month, most of the markets will host their Stock Show Specials. The next available report will be Monday, January 10, 2022.

Supply included: 43% Feeder Cattle (1% Heifers, 4% Bulls, 95% Dairy Heifers); 56% Slaughter Cattle (98% Cows, 2% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (50% Bred Cows, 50% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 96%.
