Compared to last week: Combined weighted average for 1 Colorado auction included: Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand were moderate. Slaughter cows traded 2.50 to 3.50 lower, while feeding cows traded 0.50 to 5.00 lower. Slaughter bulls traded 8.00 lower on a light test. Dairy heifers traded steady to 2.00 lower. Feeder cattle did had no comparisons on a very light test this week. No replacement cattle were offered this week. The next available report will be Monday, August 30, 2021.

Supply included: 22% Feeder Cattle (7% Steers, 8% Heifers, 86% Dairy Heifers); 78% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 97%.
