Compared to last week: Combined weighted average report for 1 Colorado auction market included: Livestock Exchange. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. Slaughter cows traded 2.00 to 3.00 higher, while slaughter bulls traded steady. Feeding cows traded unevenly steady. Dairy heifers traded mostly steady to 1.50 higher. Feeder cattle and replacement cattle had no comparable trades on a very thin test. The next available report will be Monday, August 2, 2021.

Supply included: 40% Feeder Cattle (7% Steers, 15% Heifers, 77% Dairy Heifers); 59% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 90% .
