Compared to last week: Slaughter cows traded 1.00 to 8.00 higher, while slaughter bulls were 4.50 higher. Feeding cows traded 2.00 to 4.50 higher. Replacement cattle sold steady and dairy heifers traded steady to 3.00 lower. Trade activity and demand were good to very good. The next available report will be Thursday, February 17, 2022.

Supply included: 20% Feeder Cattle (10% Steers, 37% Heifers, 2% Bulls, 51% Dairy Heifers); 57% Slaughter Cattle (0% Heifers, 90% Cows, 10% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 23% Replacement Cattle (12% Stock Cows, 51% Bred Cows, 32% Bred Heifers, 5% Cow-Calf Pairs, 0% Heifer Pairs).
