Compared to last week: Slaughter cows traded mostly steady. Slaughter bulls traded 1.75 lower. Feeding cows traded 0.50 to 3.00 lower. Feeder cattle traded mostly 1.00 to 2.00 lower on a light test. Replacement cattle traded steady to 200.00 higher for pairs. Trade activity and demand were moderate to good. The next available report will be Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Supply included: 27% Feeder Cattle (24% Steers, 20% Heifers, 57% Dairy Heifers); 59% Slaughter Cattle (93% Cows, 7% Bulls); 14% Replacement Cattle (23% Stock Cows, 77% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 82%.
