Compared to last week: Trade activity and demand were moderate. Slaughter cows traded 2.00 to 3.50 lower. Slaughter bulls traded 2.50 lower. Feeding cows traded unevenly steady. Replacement cattle and feeder cattle did not have any comparisons to the previous market test. The next available report will be Thursday, August 20, 2020.

Supply included: 26% Feeder Cattle (29% Steers, 64% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 60% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 14% Replacement Cattle (93% Stock Cows, 7% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 40%.
