Compared to last week: Trade activity moderate on good demand. Dairy heifers sold unevenly steady. Average dressing slaughter cows and bulls sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Breds and pairs too thinly tested to trend. The next available report will be Thursday, January 27, 2022.

Supply included: 9% Feeder Cattle (5% Steers, 95% Dairy Heifers); 75% Slaughter Cattle (97% Cows, 3% Bulls); 16% Replacement Cattle (37% Stock Cows, 54% Bred Cows, 8% Bred Heifers, 1% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 98%.
