Compared to last week: Demand was moderate to good. Slaughter cows traded steady, while slaughter bulls traded 6.75 higher. Feeding cows traded unevenly steady and feeder dairy heifers traded 1.00 to 2.50 higher. The next available report will be Thursday, April 6, 2023.

Supply included: 29% Feeder Cattle (16% Steers, 36% Heifers, 4% Bulls, 43% Dairy Heifers); 66% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (18% Stock Cows, 56% Bred Cows, 21% Cow-Calf Pairs, 6% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 81%.
