Compared to last week: Trade activity and demand were good to very good. Today's sale consisted of feeder calves and yearling cattle coming off grass. Feeder steers under 500 lbs traded 7.00 to 9.00 higher and those 600-700 lbs had no comparison. Feeder steers over 800 lbs were 3.00 lower to 5.00 higher while 900 lbs steers were steady. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs traded steady to 5.00 higher, while those over 600 lbs were 3.00 lower to 10.00 higher on a light test. Slaughter cows were 4.00 to 8.00 higher. Bred cattle had no comparisons from last week. The next available report will be Wednesday, October 05, 2022.

Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (50% Steers, 50% Heifers); 13% Slaughter Cattle (100% Cows); 2% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 23%.
