Compared to last week: Slaughter cattle lightly tested, slaughter bulls sold steady and slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 5.00 - 10.00 higher, feeder heifers sold 3.00 - 6.00 higher, and feeder bulls sold steady to 3.00 higher. Trade active with good demand on feeders. Replacement cattle sold steady.
Supply included: 86% Feeder Cattle (18% Steers, 29% Heifers, 53% Bulls); 8% Slaughter Cattle (75% Cows, 25% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (55% Bred Cows, 18% Bred Heifers, 27% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 15%.
