Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold steady to 2.00 lower and slaughter cows sold 2.00 - 5.00 higher. Feeders steers sold mostly steady, feeder bulls sold 3.00 - 6.00 higher and feeder heifers sold unevenly steady. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady.
Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (12% Steers, 48% Heifers, 40% Bulls); 15% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (67% Bred Cows, 27% Bred Heifers, 7% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 8%.
