Compared to two weeks ago: Slaughter bulls sold sharply higher and slaughter cows sold 2.00 - 4.00 higher. Feeder steers and bulls sold 2.00 - 5.00 lower, feeder heifers sold 2.00 - 7.00 higher. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady.
Supply included: 83% Feeder Cattle (41% Steers, 31% Heifers, 29% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (8% Stock Cows, 46% Bred Cows, 3% Bred Heifers, 44% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 13%.
